ContentGuard, Inc. is driving the standard for interoperability in Digital Rights Management (DRM). Its Digital Rights Language, XrML (eXtensible rights Markup Language), provides a universal method for managing rights and conditions associated with digital content and Web services access.

Based on years of research, XrML is currently the only Rights Language being used in working DRM solutions, including DRM solutions from Microsoft Corporation.
